Assertant / Product + UX consulting
More workA complex vision.
A clear experience.
I led UX work for an AI-driven knowledge platform, connecting ambitious product ideas with workflows people could understand and teams could deliver.
The design challenge
Give the vision
a usable shape.
Connect product intent, interaction design, and the realities of implementation.

01 / Context
Start with people.
Structure the complexity.
The platform vision connected professionals, developers, researchers, and learners in a shared knowledge ecosystem. My role was to translate that breadth into usable flows while considering accessibility, product consistency, and implementation feasibility.
Discovery
Find the questions
worth answering.
I conducted stakeholder interviews, analyzed workflows, and facilitated collaborative discovery sessions to give the design work a clear foundation.
Interaction design
Make the experience
discussable.
I created user flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes so teams could review how the experience worked, beyond a list of features.
Delivery partnership
Design with
the constraints.
I worked closely with engineering and brought product, QA, and business perspectives into iterative feedback and design workshops.
02 / Designing the experience
AI assistance.
Visible human control.
Across AI-assisted and operational workflows, I focused on three priorities: keeping context visible, making generated output reviewable, and giving complex tasks a clear next step. These illustrations communicate those principles at a high level.
An editable starting point.
A useful draft keeps supporting context close and leaves room for human judgment.
Supporting context
Make the task understandable.
Organize the work around context, review, and a deliberate next action.
Orient people before asking for input.
Keep the relevant information in view.
Make the next action clear.
Generic illustrations rebuilt for this portfolio with fictional content and a different visual system. Original interfaces, names, records, and internal design details are omitted.
03 / AI in the design process
Expand the exploration.
Keep the judgment human.
I used generative AI and MCP-supported workflows as aids to exploration and iteration. The value was in making ideas easier to develop and discuss, while keeping design decisions grounded in context, feedback, and engineering collaboration.
A connected workflow.
A considered result.
This conceptual model communicates the approach at a high level. It does not reproduce private prompts, tool configurations, integrations, or client workflows.
Start from the design question and the constraints that matter.
Use AI-assisted exploration to make alternatives tangible.
Use MCP-supported tooling within the design workflow, without exposing the underlying setup.
Evaluate the work with human judgment and cross-functional feedback.
My perspective
Better tools can shorten a loop. Design judgment gives that loop a useful direction.
04 / Contribution + collaboration
My design leadership.
Our shared delivery.
The work brought UX strategy, product craft, and technical collaboration together. This account focuses on my responsibilities and approach; it does not claim a quantified business result.
What I contributed
- Stakeholder interviews and workflow analysis
- User flows, wireframes, and interactive prototypes
- Design workshops and iterative feedback sessions
- Attention to usability, accessibility, and consistency
What we worked through together
Product intent, business needs, technical feasibility, and design quality had to stay in conversation. I partnered with engineering to shape implementable solutions and used collaborative reviews to support shared understanding.
High-level account of my role, supported by my résumé and design references. All visuals are newly reconstructed for this portfolio. Private interfaces, client data, and implementation details are omitted.
